the best week!

Even though it was my birthday & I am becoming a bit crabby about growing older, I have to say, hands down this was the best week we have had in a long time. School is finally out for the summer, I am off work for the summer, G took some days off work to hang with us & it seems the weather in this rainy state might actually turn around soon (not that we will be breaking any record high temperatures but the constant rain might let up). On top of all those great things, we were at the beach (which just happens to be my favorite place in the world)! We did everything I love at the beach! Here are a few edited pictures from the week:

I have started a new collection of pictures of beach themed street signs. A little random I know, but I think they are fun! Plus, I love how G thinks I'm off my rocker when he's driving & I lean halfway out the window and snap a picture of a street sign (he doesn't even slow down for me so a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do;)

Although we did not go to the candy store on this trip, I do love the look of this candy store. Sis complained because I kept snapping pictures & made us look touristy (she's 14 what do I expect?)

On Tuesday we met my parents @ the Tillamook Cheese Factory for lunch. Yummy food & great company!

After lunch with my parents we went out to find the sunken city & had the best adventure.

We saw Bald Eagles! They were so beautiful.

We stumbled onto a crazy driftwood structure obviously well used & taken care of. There was even a BBQ inside.

Bubba wants to come back here soon.

The beach was almost deserted, we only saw three other people the entire time we were out there. Amazingly clean & bunches of cool shells.

We had a pretty quiet drive home yesterday I don't think any of us really wanted to have to come back to reality. Truly the best week!
