Yes, I finally saw Avatar & loved it! It would have been so amazing in the theaters but it was still really great!I'm still amazed that I stayed awake (it did help that Spencer & I started it at 11 am;)

We have all turned into huge Blazer fans this year. Spencer started watching because he played basketball this year. G has always liked watching. Now that I know who the players are, I even got into it. And Lexi watches on occasion because she thinks Rudy is cute (She's gonna kill me for writing that:)

Lexi's band played today in the Canby Band Festival & they did awesome! They received the highest scores the school has ever received. It was fun to get to watch them & see their improvement!

We thought a thunderstorm might ruin this lacrosse game but the weather actually held out.Uncle Brandon, Aunt Jenine & little Cousin Erik got to come watch since we played just down the street from their house! Our boys lost but played with big hearts!

No on to May News! Last year I started A Page A Day In The Month Of May & I'm doin it again! I will share with you at least one scrapbook page every day in May. The difference is this year I'm doing all the pages using my stash (stuff I already have). Last year I bought everything for the pages right before May. But last year I had a paying job. This year I am working with what I have (and I really have a lot). Actually my goal is to complete 100 pages using just my stash but that's a story for another day! So start looking on May 1st for the 2010 Page A Day In The Month Of May! And by the way May 1st is National Scrapbooking Day so you know where I'll be;)

After less than 2 years with a speech therapist @ school Spencer has graduated from speech (that simply means he no longer qualifies for speech services). He was diagnosed with a Lateral Lisp part way through first grade & has worked hard @ school and @ home to learn how to speak correctly. The only sad part is that I think his speech teacher @ school is a great person & I will miss her influence on Spencer.

So this is the real reason why I have not posted in over a week. Our modem went out & we decided to switch Internet providers. In the process we were off line for 8 days ( not a happy 8 days for me).

Spencer's lacrosse team won their second game in front of Nonie, Papa, Uncle Brad & Logan. Spencer got one goal & showed his dedication & determination throughout the entire game. I just can't believe how tough he can be. He still surprises me daily.

Civil War Lacrosse game, GOOOOOOO Ducks! What an awesome game & so cool to watch a different level of play. And yes, the Ducks did win so that made it even better. We did have some rain in the second half which Lexi & I didn't like but overall it was incredible!

The North Clackamas Aquatic Park is less than 5 miles from our house, we could practically walk there & yet we had never been. But that all changed today! Spencer & Lexi were invited to attend Logan's birthday party:) This is a picture of Lexi after she went down the slide (can you see her? she's that little dot way back in the picture). Thanks Uncle Brad for "pushing" her to go down the slide (actually it was more encouraging). I told you once she goes down & realized she can do it, we won't be able to get her off! I actually took this with my phone so the picture isn't that great.

I finally got a new phone! I have had the same phone for about 2 1/2 years & it was just flat out tired! But Lexi wore her phone out texting awhile back so I gave her my upgrade. So the deal was, she had to give me her upgrade & it finally came available! Yeah, now I have to go figure it out because it has so much more than my last one!

This is going to be a long post, sorry. We have been busy & on top of that G has been sick which throws us into crazy mode. He is starting to feel better, I think but last night neither of us slept very well. He took Nyquil which knocks me out but apparently keeps him up. So he tossed & turned which kept me up as well (weird cuz I usually sleep through everything). Anyway, it's Monday & I think we are back to our normal routine, which is great for me!

We spent the weekend at the beach & because of that, I didn't decorate much at home. But I did finish this adorable egg garland to hang up at the beach house to sort of festive up the place.

When the weather gets nicer I like to wear fun stuff in my hair (or maybe I'm trying to distract from the fact that I'm in need of a haircut). So I have been busy as a bee making fun things for my hair, aren't they cute? I'm sad that Lexi is getting bigger & isn't willing to add these cute things to her outfits anymore. Oh well, I still wear them. I have been looking for plain little tanktops to add some fun flowers to for this Summer. I have seen shirts with cute flowers on them in stores & man they are spendy. So of course I thought, "I can do that!" I'll show some pictures when I find some tanks to embellish. Have a great week. I'm off to do the normal Monday stuff (laundry).

1st Clackamas Lacrosse Game

It was a cold (ok freezing) evening but Spencer's Clackamas Boys came out with a win last night against Hood River 9-6! And Spencer was one tough cookie. He might be the smallest on the field but he showed no sign of hesitation going for the ball & finished the game scoring two points! One of his teammates nicknamed him Ninja & he was all smiles! What a great way to begin the season! Now bring on the warmer weather & maybe Lexi will come out of the truck & watch the next one.
